swallowing

I have this dull ache in my throat. It's like a phlegm ball I cant cough up. But I no problem swallowing and feel fine other wise. I mean considering I'm 4 days post op. Is this discomfort normal?

I had some issues with Cold  feeling like a lump  or huge hurtful burb .. i ended up using room temp or warm liquids  it helpped and  went away after few days
