I'm on my way!!
Well, surgery is in 3 days. So excited and nervous at the same time. I had to put my dog down last week, he was my cuddle puppy. Whenever I was sick he wouldn't leave my side. 4 months ago the vet gave him 2 weeks to 3 months max. So as my surgery was getting near and he was doing well, I was really looking forward to recovering with him at my side. However last week he took a turn for the worse and I had to make the most gut wrenching decision of my life. So,needless to say I'm not gonna have him at my side. At least not physically.
I have 2 other friends who have had this surgery in the last few months. Both with complication. So it's hard to overlook that. But I'm quite happy I have Dr. Andrew as my surgeon.
Wish me luck!!

Good luck TJLJ. I have had to do that with my 2 dogs. one I had for 14 years, and the last one we had for a year. Last one had cancer when we got her (she was a rescue dog). I feel your pain. I hope your surgery goes well. Barb
