I was so excited when I could cross my legs.then I almost cried when my hubby lifted me up with out hurting himself.

Seeing and feeling those bones is amazing. You almost forget that you ever had them. My moment was longing to wear non-stretchy jeans with a belt and be able to bend over without feeling like my insides were going to burst. When that did happen, it took me a minute to realize it was actually happening!!! Certainly puts a spring in your step.

Like Newfie, crossing my legs was a big thing for me (now I do it so much I'm probably going to get varicose veins! lol geeez) and being able to easily maneuver in an airplane, even crossing my legs there (I know I know - blood clots! blah blah blah)  Being able to wear my wedding rings again was fun.... now they are too big - geez

The one thing I really want to do still is chin myself 10 times, this is my new goal.  So far all I've managed to do is lengthen my arms... geez.

Oh well,  off to Butts and Bellies class!

Crossing my legs was a big one for me.  I took a picture and bawled my eyes out, and posted it on Facebook.  I want to be able to tuck in a shirt, wear cute sandals, and shorts in the summer, not capris that go down almost to my ankles.  :)

VSG done with Dr. Ariel Ortiz, Tijuana, MX on Jan. 16, 2013.  Starting weight 301.  Lost 24 pounds pre-op.  Check out my blog here:  ChubbyU
