what is the process?

Hi all, so all i know is that i now fit the criteria and just have to wait until they contact my dr and go from there...

BUT.. when and IF i get accepted here in wpg, what is the process from start to finish?? and the time frame??

Those of you who have been thru this process here in winnipeg, how did things happen? etc./.. what all can you tell those of us who now are closer?? Thank you in advance for any and all advice you can give..

can't answer much, except to say i put in the request through my doctor a few months back and just got accepted this month. so be prepared for a long wait before acceptance! not sure what my next step is, i assume it's some sort of information appointment where they'll explain the process.

i hear it's a year long wait til the actual surgery during which time you are expected to show your commitment to the program by losing some weight.

So where are you all at now may I ask?
