Feeling Beat Up

I guess this can be considered my first time doing this, but I figured it does give me an outlet at least to vent. I have been fighting this weight loss issue for many years now. I have finally been accepted at the Royal Alexander Hospital for the program, this mind you has been after a period of about 10-15 years of fighting to find out what to do or who could help. Those words almost made me strangle my doctor at the time"You just need to loose weight".

Since then about 3 years ago I changed Doctors as I met my now loving wife of 2 years but he is only slightly better and worse in other ways such as charging $400 to fill out the Tax paper each year for a small tax help or $40 each time for a Doctors note just to say I was there for my work.

Oh well enough for this early in the morning....and it did feel good to at least be able to say something about it....back to the grind...

Congrats Mike, on being accepted to the program.  This forum is a great place to vent and get support and advise.  There is a few people on here that have gone with that program and some currently in it.  Keep us posted on how things go for you, and good luck on your journey.  Barb

The meet and greet is open to anyone on the forum.  It is a great place to talk to others who have gone threw the process so you can learn what to expect.  There may be people there that have been in the program you are in.  The info on the meet and greet is a few posts down from yours.  Barb
