Still gurgling stomach

So after 9 months since VSG surgery, my stomach still gurgles alot. Not just after drinking or eating, but constantly gurgles to the point where Im not sure if Im hungry or my PPI isnt working. Anyway, last week in Mexico I found myself sampling some of the breakfast pastries along with my bacon/eggs and found that my stomach didnt gurgle at all after. Chalked it up to different climate or whatever..came home to my usual diet and gurgles started up again. So  this morning, with some bacon I took a couple bites of bread I had baked and no gurgles so far this morning. I really dont want to have to have bread/carby things for the gurgles to stop but it sure feels nice to not have that feeling right now. Anyone else have something like this and how did you manage? I am still trying to figure out my new stomach and definitely know what works and what doesn't (my beloved Chinese Food is seriously off the list!)

Maybe a little research is in order to see if there is any correlation between the two???

I had the RNY and my stomach makes all kings of crazy noises!  Between the loud gurgling  and burping it is embarrassing!  But it does seem to have improved a little bit.  If you find out what to do to make it stop please share!

I had VSG as well and I am 2+ yrs out and my stomach still gurgles! ALL the time...daily..LOL I'm used to it and so are my family, but my friends just stare and giggle at my weird stomach noises. I wonder if it made such a ruckus all along, but now that I have less padding we can hear it more?..LOL I didn't ever have real issues with acids or reflux other than the first months. NOw I just take a calcium chew and that seems to quiet it.

The new tummy is sure interesting to figure out some days, but honey, I"ll take the gurgles anyday!!
