Lost weight over Christmas?? I might have from a flu bug but I would have made up for it as soon as I was feeling better. But this year, I lost 2 pounds over Christmas!!! I did not deny myself bites of ANYTHING,  ate protein, got my water and vitamins in (most days) so in 7 months, Ive lost 68 pounds and for once, I will not wake up New Years morning feeling the dread and hopelessness of another year fat and full of broken promises to myself. I have maybe 30 or so to go which is my own goal I set but I really want to make 100 pounds in less than a year (May 22/13). If I feel I want to lose more than that, I certainly can but I will go by how I feel.

I am still thankful everyday for this wonderful opportunity to have had this amazing surgery and just wish our government would up the funding so that more people who so desperately need it, could get it. What a life altering tool this has been for me. I have been doing things that I would never have done before with the extra weight. My family is surprised with my new attitude and I just want to do everything out there that I wouldn't when I was much heavier!

Blessings to all as 2012 draws to a close. 2013 can only get better!

LOL was commenting this morning that losing 1½ lbs over Christmas this year felt ***weird*** because I ate all sorts of food - and lots of it - and was expecting the usual 5 lb gain!  But instead, it feels really good....
