Meet and Greet at Library Feb. 21st

I booked the meeting room at Sir William Stephenson library for Feb 21 st. at 5:30 pm.   We can have the clothing swap then, so bring any clothes you don't want or cant fit.  Sir William Stephenson library is located at 765 Keewatin St. in Winnipeg.  Everyone is welcome, come out and meet others from the forum and have some coffee.  There will be people at all different stages of their weight loss journey.  Hope to see you there this time Granny.

that's wonderful news Barb!!! and I will be there for sure.  We will be staying at the Victoria Inn, is the library close?  I will have lots of clothes to share (some are a reshare from other M & Gs lol)   I strongly encourage any 2x, 3x and 4x  ladies to come for clothes!  Sooooo looking forward to it!

I would really love to come to the M&G on the 21st. I'm wondering if anyone has any objections to my bringing my son. With my hubby's schedule it's just about impossible for me to come alone. He is special needs but really wouldn't be a bother. He usually sits and sings and rocks. We wouldn't be there much more than a hour but I would love to come. If anyone has a concern with him being there, then I understand.

The Victoria inn is  right near the airport and this library is quite close. I'd say around 10 kms ? You just go north down route 90, then notre dame to keewatin and then straight down to the library..... very easy and avoids a lot of traffic!  I have a bunch of jeans and stuff in 16/18's  for people. Hopefully I'll be fully out of the 14's to give up. I'm really wearing 14's, 12's and even have one 11 from reitman's.... 

Perfect!  I am looking for some 16 pants!  Yippee!

I think that would be wonderful Karen!  We've met husbands, boyfriends and at the last coffee we threw together, I even brought a friend (who loved you guys by the way).  I think it's important for us to know each other's lives a little in order to understand each other and hopefully be there to help each other. 

Thanks, he really is a sweetie and can charm the pants off just about anyone. Bonus, you can even try clothes on and he won't know as he is blind. Makes Christmas shopping really easy!
