So i have six weeks to make it to my twelve lb weight loss goal. I have been counting calories for the last two weeks and average around 1700. I exercise 5 times a week 30-60 minutes. So I figured I would have lost at least 2 lbs.

I have not.

I am scared if I do not reach this goal they won't take me.

But I will guess go lower on calories and exercise 6 times a week. I am thinking of adding infrared sauna into my regime. They say its good at detoxing the body

Apparently your body gets used to what you are eating and doing physically so it stops reacting the same way, ie - losing weight.  So I've heard that you need to change your routine.  Do different exercises.  If you are doing the same pace, intensity on the treadmill or elliptical then change the pace, intensity, even the direction you are moving.  Often I see people at the gym moving backwards on the elliptical.    Don't give up!  Keep trying and you will see some success!

I vary my workouts from the elliptical, cycling, treatmill (I will do intervals of different speeds and inclines), the arc trainer.

I am going to try to rework my schedule so I can try more fitness classes or water aerobics, I love the water.

You could try cutting out carbs for the most part and raising your protein intake to over 100 grms a day; and drop your calories to 1000. I had a plateau a while back and I dropped my calories to under 600, with over 113 grms of protein a day and under 40 grms of carbs, upped my water intake to 14 glasses a day and within a week it bust the stall big time. I also work out 5 or more days a week running for 1/2 hr and the other days I walk for two minutes; run as fast as I can for one minute and I do that for 25 mins and then I do weights for 1/2 hr to 45 mins. I still needed to do the above food and drink routine just to break the stall and move the scale.

Good luc****ep us posted on how you are doing.
