congrats on starting the journey.i noticed that things were looser than before.after a couple of months my rings didnt fit.my shoes were falling off my fingers.my watch strap had to be tightened.bath sheets were fitting better then way too big.slowly the clothes that you just had to keep in hopes maybe they would someday fit all of a sudden did then they were too big so you had to go out and buy more clothes then those didnt fit so i ended up buy clothes from the self help or stuff on sale for cheap
i hope this helps
I lost some weight before surgery so I would qualify. My face was where people noticed changes first. People would say, Oh you've lost weight, I can see it in your face." I would rather they notice in my stomach or behind but that's okay! lol Maybe they noticed but didn't want to say they were looking there. I actually lost over 50 lbs before surgery and 2 sizes. Good luck and welcome to the forum!
Good question - Others would comment about the face changing or baggier clothes but I first really noticed a difference was when at one month post op I was at a function where the chairs would normally cut into my thighs causing bruises if I wasn't brave enough to get a chair from the back without arms. This time I sat down and forgot about the chair until later in the night when a light bulb went off and I noticed I was sitting comfortably and that my good shoes didn't hurt either! What a journey... Merry Christmas All
