Hi

I'm starting to feel much better.   I increased my calories and protein and it has made a difference.   Do you ever have wine with dinner.  I find if I drink 1/2 glass before supper, I can digest my food better.  I'm not sure if this is good for me, but it works.

My nausia is almost gone, which I'm very thankful for.   Mostly its just if I eat to fast or don't chew it enough.  I am enjoying steak again, my favorite.

Hope you're feeling as good as you look.  Any trouble with your diet?  Missing your favorite foods, especially at Christmas?  I had my first turkey dinner and missed the dressing.  I found turkey harder to digest than chicken.

Take care

Alvina

Glad to hear you are feeling better and that the food is working better for you.

I don't drink wine; I have never liked it. I am finding that I am feeling awfully sorry for myself at times right now. The first Christmas and all the good stuff out there to eat and I am not touching any of it. I keep telling myself next Christmas will be that much better. I had a hard time with Chicken breasts for the longest time, but I would say in the last month or so it is much better. I still don't do any bread, rice or pasta of any sort. That is just a personal choice and I don't think my sleeve would like it either.

My son also sent me an email today he is Montreal in the military and we are going to Montreal for Christmas. Well he was told today to pick up his kit for Syria and he is on call to be deployed there. Once he gets the call he will be gone within 48 hrs, so now I am stressed about that and want to eat of course; but my sleeve will help me control it.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes. I still can't believe it when I look at the picture Wow.

Yes Sondra we will have to do coffee, I keep trying to get out to one of the M & G but this fall has been crazy for me, out of town alot for work and then working late to catch up when I am here. I hope the New Year settles down at. Mind you we are going on holidays the first two weeks of Feb so once again I will be behind the 8 ball at work. Oh Well!
