didnt someone mention theyd gone to the group meeting here and there were men there? i cant find where it was mentioned....

it might have been husbands.the first meeting there were  a couple of hubbys there.

No she talked to them, they were there for themselves, it has been opened up to men now.

HMM????... We should discuss amongst us ladies if,when we have our meet and greets, how will will handle that if men are allowed to come too.
Do we want to be whipping up our tops to show our scars and extra skin??? We could end up being the new Bariatric dating service.! Just saying!

My husband came to the first meeting at the vic.  I asked him to come because I am terrified driving in Winnipeg.  He loved being at the meeting and says awe I wish I could go every meeting I go to now.  LOL.  I only go to the meetings at the library,  because it is open to everyone.  Some of the ladies that have gone to Mexico for their surgery, have had their husbands at meetings to calm their fears about Mexico and the surgery.  I am sure there will be ladies in the future that wish to bring their spouse to learn about the surgery from those that have had it done.  I personally think it would be great for the guys to attend.  I think when they see how many ladies are there they may feel out of place and take off.  LOL  We will have to remember to not talk about tampons, bad gas, dumping syndrome, and at the clothing swap we have to try our bras on over our shirts.  LOL    THIS COULD BE FUN. he he
