Ok so I just mixed in 1 scoop of the beneprotein into my chicken broth and it would not dissolve at all.  It was like great big chunks of rubber and nothing i did would get rid of it!  I dumped it out and am having a cup without it.  What I am doing wrong? Any suggestions??

It could be the temperature of it. A lot of protein changes texture when too hot. Think of an egg changing when you heat it up. You can temper it by mixing it in cold water until dissolved then adding to the broth or adding it to cooler broth . That should help

I used to use Beneprotein. I found that you can add it to hot liquids like soup, etc but you cant just dump in the whole scoop. You have to SLOWLY pour the scoop in while stirring the soup or whatever. Otherwise if you don't you get the mess you had.

Yes, it is like making gravy. Mix the Beneprotein with a little bit of water or milk first and make a paste. Once you have your paste, then slowly mix it into your hot stuff, other wise you will have lumps. Barb C, BCwaiting

Thanks for being my protein powder guinea pig, LOL !! I'm guessing you could take some of the cool broth, mix to a paste then add it to the warmer broth....then it wouldn't take away from that delicious broth flavor!!

Is there any other unflavored protein powder out there available in Winnipeg?

I think most of the places like popeye's sell unflavoured protein but I have never found them truly unflavoured.  I used unjury unflavoured at first , now that I can eat more I just have click generally. Sometimes I mix protein in with puddings, or in my favorite protein peanut butter balls.mmmm

My favorite proteins so far are click, mint cookie from matrix, chike makes some nice ones as well that mix well and taste good.  I liked the nectars at first as well. I hated the thickness of the shakes at first and drinking a crystal light type beverage at first was easier to get down. I also used to use the RTD chocolate drink from costco - was ok and easy but not the best.

I'm going to order Click, both flavors and have been scouring for recipes to use with  protein powder(s). Those peanut butter balls looked amazing!!

Thanks for your help and suggestions!!

I found a product at Sunrise. It's called Xtreme Power Whey Isolate. Natural flavour. There is 32g of protein per scoop. I haven't used it yet but I tried a bit and didn't taste anything.  I had to ask for it because it wasn't easy to see on the shelf with all the flavoured items.  I just happened to be in the mall.  Next time I'll stop in at Popeyes. I hear their prices are good.

Cheers!
