1 year ago today!

1 year ago today I was having my surgery. I remember it like it was yesterday. I can't believe how only 1 year has changed my life so dramatically. I have gone from 239 lbs with a bmi of 41.02 - class 3 morbidly obese to today being 130 lbs with a bmi of 22.3 - considered normal. I can't believe I am down 109 lbs in just 1 short year. Honestly I feel like I've been dreaming. I've never done anything for myself and doing this was the best thing I could have ever done. It's been a long hard road at times and yes I still have trouble with alot of foods but I would do it all over again in a heart beat problems and all. I wanna say thank you to Dr. Vergis & Dr. Hardy who did my surgery, Andrea and Amara who are a dream, as well as the rest of the great staff I've encountered. But also a big thank you to you wonderful & caring ladies who are a support day or night. I've appreciated your words and I love the M&G's. Not sure who's going to tonight's meeting at the Vic but I'll see you there!

I am SOOO proud of you! doesn't it feel amazing??

she's 2 months old already & getting way too big too fast. :)

and now i have to learn to eat all over again so i can get the weight off! :)

Wow! that's amazing mama, I remember when you had your surgery as well and it does seem like yesterday, You should post your before and afters (if you are comfortable with that)   It's very motivating.

Funny I never took any before pictures, too ashamed of the camera. I did keep a few pair of my fat pants to remind me of where I never want to go again.
