6 weeks to 5 K
So last Monday I started a 6 week to 5 K program. Tonight, I went 4 miles in an hour, doing walk/run intervals. I am able to run 5 minutes at a time without a break.. so happy about all of this. I used to run and I so want to get back to where I was before, without any injury.. . taking it nice and slow and this program has been very easy so far.
This is the link to the guide that I have been following. Keep in mind, I used to do 5 miles a day about 4-5 times a week, this has been very easy for me and I am on Week 2 Monday. I have not run for over 3 years, so I consider myself a beginner again...
