I went to Walmart today and found all the vitamins that are on the requirement list in chewable, dissolvable strips and liquid for the iron.   If it wasn't for speaking to some of you at the meeting, I would be trying to crush up and swallow the other kind! (Yuck) So many important tips that I wouldn't have found out from the doctor office!  Cheers!

OK, now I'm curious....I have to take a Multi, Iron, Calcium and D....I have found chewable Caltrate's with D...but are there chewable multi (or prenatal), Iron or what are these dissolvable strips and liquid?? Inquiring minds want to know!!

Thanks!!

The chewable multi is a brand called Quest and the ingredients are the same as the prenatal vitamin requirements are. Also Jamieson makes a B12 1000mcg dissolving strip, 30 in a box.  Ask at the pharmacy for the liquid iron for adults.  The brand is Enfamil and it has adult doses on the bottle.  Cheers!

Oh and the Vitamin D is Jamieson.  Just look for chewable on the label.  Everything I found has the NPN on the label as stated in the pre-op package.

tamma t- be sure you are taking calcium citrate and not calcium carbonate, big differance, we do not absorb the carbonate. i think caltrate is the carbonate.....
