5 Month Update....a week late

So as of today I am officially down 60 lbs from my surgery date, and 82 lbs since my referral.  

WOW... I am SO glad that I paid the money to get this done in Mexico and not wait for the program here to get it's butt in gear...I was referred in December 2011 and have still yet to hear about the group session, so I will assume that I am not going to hear anytime soon, nor would I be scheduled for surgery before I reach my goal weight.   

I have 33 lbs to go, and have just committed to doing the relay for the Winnipeg Police Marathon, and depending on how that goes, I am more than likely going to do the Manitoba 1/2 marathon..maybe one day I will just do the whole thing....

I started my training last night, did 3.5 miles on the treadmill walking & running.  Tonight a got outside and walked 5.5 miles.  

One day I may get brave enough to post pics....

congrats!! thats so exciting!! the half marathon is a goal of mine as well!! Heres to the last 33lbs!!

Awesome progresss!! You must feel fantastic. Its funny..I was just  I was thinking of the Winnipeg program the other night as I was a January referral and havent heard a word. I too will probably be at goal before they even think of calling. Good job on the marathon goal..you will do it with ease.
