Wondered if any of you ladies have heard of pb2? A friend told me about it to use with my son's ketogenic diet.
It is a powdered peanut butter (comes in chocolate as well), it has been roasted and pressed to remove fat and oil. The chocolate version has 45 calories and 1.6g fat per 2 T. You reconstitute it with water. She says it is awesome on toast and in smooothies. She got her's in the States but I found it on www.lowcarbcanada.ca .
I'm going to take it to show my Dad (he's diabetic) to see if he can use it.

I bought some with intentions of putting it in shakes , but my 14 year old step daughter claimed it and LOVES it lol. She mixes with water and uses it on toast . I ended up buying 2 16 oz bags of it the last time I was in the states through netrition( along with click delivered ) she loves the chocolate pb2. ( like Nutella) Are you in winnipeg? I could get some to you to try .

my girlfriend gave me some to try but thank you. Will probably try this weekend. I'm not  a hube pb fan but my son loves it and can only have 1T a day so I'm hoping the dietician will say he can have the full 2T.

Karen!

There is an Aviva nutrition store on St. James here in the city...it's either at Wellington or Sargent and you can buy it for $9.99.  I love it too.
