Ninja Blender

I picked up one of these at Cdn Tire tonight ( pricey at 99 bucks on sale for the blender - they have cheaper ones and a more expensive system as well)

It's awesome!  I made the kids a smoothie and the texture is awesome. I was going to have my pear juice ( helps me poop regularly lol) so I blended it with some ice and omg it was like a slurpee. I generally try not to drink my calories except my protein shakes and my pear juice which I consider medicinal lol.

It has multiple blades so it mixes thoughout and stuff doesn't get stuck. It's very cool. Looking forward to a Click Frappicinio tomorrow morning mmmmmmm

Another gadget we've been using ( got to love wedding gift cards lol) is an actifry. It is a healthy "deep fryer" you basically use a spoonfull of oil to cook 2 lbs of potatoes. It's pretty cool. I have done fries, and perogies in it so far.  The perogies shrunk quite a bit but were good. The fries were so good!  The kids love it as well. Going to try stirfry in it next.
