Learning and more learning...
So at 4 months I am down 51 pounds. Im thrilled except it took me 12 days to lose 1 pound. I hit 50 pounds on my birthday, Sept 11 and then nothing, stall I guess cause the scale fluctuated by .2 each day up and down till finally on Saturday it was one pound. I know it slows down or stalls but it scared the crap out of me that maybe thats it??Maybe thats all I can lose with this surgery? I have increased the excersise and am logging all my food (seriously sometimes its hard to stay between 600-800 calories) increasing my water and really watching any sugar carbs. Unfortunately, I have little restriction with muffins, cake, sweets which is my downfall..so its all on me to keep it clean. (wishing I had the threat of dumping). Anyway, still loving my sleeve for everything else and am so glad to have had this magnificent tool!

I had my surgery , sleeve, 4 months ago and the dietician told me that I HAVE to eat at least 1,200 calories otherwise your body will get too used to the very low calories and as soon as you eat anything extra and up those calories, you will gain weight. I was eating 1,000 at that time and she said it wasn't enough. It makes sense, so am doing what she says. I upped the calories and only loose 1/2 to one pound every other week now. BUT that is ok too. That way your skin gets a chance to keep up with your weight loss. And she was right. I went away for 4 days, I didn't feel like I ate more, but was eating different and had a few drinks every night and when I got home I had gained 2 pounds. Bad, and it has taken all month for loose them again. So, I would say, add more healthy choices into your diet. it may take a little longer, but this is a lifetime change not just until you can loose your weight quick. Good luck. Barb C
I think you are like me.... I am a slow loser, but it comes off 3-5 lbs at a time, then stops for awhile.
Increasing your excersize will slow things down too, as you are building some muscle, but soon the muscle weight will ease off and you will start dropping fat. You are doing great, just tell those darn sweets where to go! ( I have a similar addiction but I feel sick if I eat sweets)
I also LOVE my sleeve!
