I have such issues with constipation. I usually have to take suppositories and sennekot on a regular basis. I think though I may have stumbled on something better.

Omg I have been drinking pear nectar ( got it at sobeys cash and carry - I would bet they sell it at all sobey's) and  oh.my. god. did it make me go yesterday.

So I am out getting a bunch of errands done. I had to stop driving and pull over at  superstore to go to the washroom.  Thought " Good , it's been too long and YAY!" Went to leave the store, get into my car and back up and uh oh... the urge again. Repark and go back in ( I'm sure loss prevention is looking at me as suspicious at this point)

Okay , no time to pick up my package at fed ex now.... I had to pick my step daughter at school and uh oh ... needed to stop at burger king urgently ... I'm talking sweating, feeling nauseaus and thinking I NEED to go now!!!!  Wasn't feeling safe to leave so I ordered some food.  OF course the till goes down and they can't complete the order without rebooting. I feel the urge again. I give my 8 yr old step daughter the money while the re boot the till and explain to pay while I visit the bathroom again.

My step daughter, oh lovely sweet funny kid ,loudly says " You have to poop AGAIN?"  Can we say embarassed? lol. Had to have a conversation about saying things like that out in public. Sigh.... Got to love her to bits though.

Well the point of the story is I think it is the pear nectar that is helping. It's the only thing differently I have been doing .

I weighed in at 210 in the morning yesterday and 206 today lol. Feel so much better though. Here's hoping that the nectar helps but not that much help lol. I think I will be adding a glass everyday to my routine. Just thought I would put this out there in case it helps someone else -)

My favourite thing for constipation is 'smooth moves' tea. I get it in the 'organic' section from Superstore. It is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! I take it at night and first thing in the morning, I have success!! It is completely organic and natural. Laura even approved it.

If you let it steep for too long (past 10-15 mintues), then I will go several times in an hour. If I have lots to do in the morning (appts, driving kids around, etc,), then I usually won't take it.

I also have been eating dates every day. These also help a TON!!! I didn't think I would like them, but I have gotten used to them. I eat about 3 a day. I get the large 'mehjool' ones from Walmart (not the really sweet sugary ones).

Good luck!!!
