Sir William Stephenson Library is booked for Tue. Oct. 30th from 5-8:30pm. Had fun at the one today, It was even more fun when real people showed up and I didn't have to talk to my imaginary freinds. LOL

Dr. Jamie Ponce de Leon - Medical guide Laurie Wolf Received money Never showed up - Only thing booked were flights. Surgeon and Medical team, and hospital were awesome . There is another Medical guide named Trish she is good. PM me for info.

I work evening so I may not make it unless Michelle (Rainyone) wants to call in a crisis to my office?! I may try to manage a quick pop in.

To the ladies today.....thank you for not being intimidating! I know you've all been in my shoes but I wasn't sure how I'd feel being the person yet to have surgery. Thanks for being nice :)

Awwwww - thanks rainy for the thought! I know I shouldn't be nervous but I am, so if anyone wanted to get together, that would be great, I'm not sure where we are going to book into for the night before the surgery(any suggestions?) but we can work on that when I get home.

By the way people, there are very few fat people in Europe - I feel like a hippo - lol (and they all where scarves, even the dudes)

The Gordon Montcalm Motor Hotel (it comes up as Montcalm Gordon on Google, but they don't seem to have a website) is almost right beside Victoria Hospital. I've never stayed there, but it would be my pick (I presume hubby is coming to stay too??) just for the convenience. You would get free parking and it's about a two-minute walk to the hospital.

P.S. Of course you should be nervous, at least a little bit. You are going to be having surgery, after all.

I haven't stayed there but attended weigh****chers meetings and it seemed nice enough from the looks of the meeting rooms.... it is so close. I know there is the canad inns down pembina - not too far which is nice, a super 8 down pembina as well. Both are nice.
