My awesome weekend Shopping

 I went down to Fargo with my fiancé's ex wife, his 2 kids and ex mother in law ( yes we all have a strange but very functional relationship ) this weekend and had a blast trying on clothes . I still can't believe I am in regular sizes now ! I tried on a size 16 pair of jeans at old navy and had to go down to the 14 , which fits nicely !!! Oh.my.god! I thought it was a fluke but other stuff in that size fits as well.some more comfortably than others but they all do up .... I ended up buying a couple more yoga pants , the jeans and a bunch of tops ( size large and XL- normal sizes!!!!!!) 


I also ended up buying another wedding dress lol. I didn't find the one I ordered ( 99 bucks online) the most flattering or right . I was going to have to get alterations anyway which probably would have cost the same as this dress which I can wear off the rack . It was $89 at David's bridal . It is white with one strap of flowers and the other side is strapless. I even found a few flower clips at forever 21. For under $5 to wear in my hair ! I am loving shopping wayyyy too much now!  Thankfully the exemption has increased to 800 for the 48 hours or I would be in big trouble lol . 

The best part - today ( my 40 th birthday ) the scale gave me the most awesome gift . I'm 208 which means I am no longer obese !!! Just overweight Woooohoooo!!!! Bmi is 29.8

What better way to celebrate another year ~ shopping!!!   Happy Birthday Rainyone!

hap, hap, happy birthday!!!!!  Holy 40!  You're just a baby!   They say 40 is the new 30 (but I think it's the forty somethings saying that, not the 30 year olds haha)   I'll bet you could run circles around some of those young puppies though!

Thanks everyone. I feel so much better than I did a year ago. It's been an interesting 5 month ride ..... It boggles the mind that 6 months ago I was in a size 26 and today it's a size 14! bizarre. 

Way to Go Michelle - and Happy 40th Birthday.  Size 14 holly crow, way to rock that sleeve.  You will have to post pictures of your new dress.  I like the one shoulder strap I think it will look awesome on you.  You are so nice and tall - you will look beautiful!!!
