It was sure nice seeing a lot of you! Everyone has changed so much! You ladies look great. There were more that I wanted to say hi to but didn't get a chance to. "HI!" I am also sorry to those whose names I forgot. I am terrible at remembering names :( Hope to see you all again.

How was the topic? Were you allowed to ask questions? Was there handouts?

The meeting discussed the 10 most common mistakes made after weight loss surgery.

The room wasn't full, but I'd guess there were at least 35 - 40 people there. Yes, we were allowed to ask questions. The last part of the meeting everyone introduced themselves, told their surgery date, how much weight they had lost and their journey thus far.

I enjoyed the meeting and it was nice to see so many others who are travelling down the same road as us. And it must have inspired me because I hit the gym for the first time all summer this morning.

I thought of you Michelle. One women stood up and said she was the first patient to have WLS in Manitoba. She had it in October of 2010 and has lost half her body weight.. Isn't that when you had it? You must have been one of the first as well.

I was done on Oct 19th, 2010. I was told they started doing them in May of that year and were doing a few a month???

Dr. Jamie Ponce de Leon - Medical guide Laurie Wolf Received money Never showed up - Only thing booked were flights. Surgeon and Medical team, and hospital were awesome . There is another Medical guide named Trish she is good. PM me for info.
