Missed Personal Goal?!!!
Hi ladies!
When I started this journey in November I was 239 lbs with a bmi of 41.02 - class 3 morbid obese. I was a size 18 pant and at least a 3X for tops. The nuts goal weight for me was 170-165. My personal goal weight was 139 lbs, my best teenage weight, where I was happy with how I looked. Plus this would be exactly 100 lbs lost when I reached this goal.
I've been impatiently but patiently waiting as I've been hovering over 140 lbs for 2 weeks now. I try not to weigh myself often but I so badly wanted to see the scale say my magic number that I've been weighing myself more than I'd like to admit. A few times I've seen 139 but within the same day I would be back to 140 or even 141. Yesterday I weighed myself and I was 140 and today, all of today I am happy to say I even past goal and I am 138!!! I now have a bmi of 23.69 and considered "normal". I am now a size 4/6 pant and a medium top. I've even enjoyed shopping in the junior department. Something I haven't done since I was a young teen.
I can't believe how 9 months has transformed my life this dramatic. I am so thankful to the doctors and the pilot program. I know we say thank you to them but I wonder if they really know how much they have changed our lives and given us our lives back. I am also thankful to all of you beautiful ladies who share your thoughts and experiences with me. I remember a time, not long ago when I wasnt sure about my date of surgery (going on a long trip right after surgery) and I was going to postpone the surgery date. I am so thankful for all the great advice and happy I listened to all of you.
So, you ask, what's next?...A new goal weight! Maybe 10 more lbs!
