Meet for Coffee after Meeting at Vic. Sept. 5th

Thought I would start a new thread so everyone got to see it.   Since the program is only scheduled to go until 7:00 at the Vic on Sept. 5th  I was wondering if anyone wanted to go for coffee after and anyone else who wanted to could join us. How about the Starbucks on Keneston and McGilvray?

If I'm back from Edmonton, I would like to join you guys.  This meeting is just for WLS patients who had surgery in Wpg, right?

That's my understanding from earlier posts, Alvina.  We "rejects" are rejected yet again!  We'll show them!!  Your surgery date is around the corner  

You bet, yes I'm getting nervous, excited all the normal jitters.   How are you doing?

I called and they said it's only for the WLS patients from the bariatric program... that I could ask someone who attends for the handouts.....  that's so unfortunate, what kind of support is there for the ones who had to go out of province, we are still Manitobans....covered by MB Health....what is the topic?

I really wish I could make it, but I will be out of town that week. I have a free trip ( flight and hotel) to go to Laughlin, Nevada, so that is where I will be..loosing all my money instead ! I am trying to find some shorts and tops that fit me as it is currently 110%F there right now! Wish me luck. Hope I can see all of you again soon. BARB C.

It sounds like we might be outgrowing the Starbucks. They only have room inside for about 15 and 12 outside and that is assuming no other people are there and the seats are scattered.
Should we be considering going to Smitty's in Fort Richmond?
