We went out as a family yesterday and all rode our bikes. What a feeling.

My man bought a bike this weekend and I bought one a couple months ago.

5 months ago , I wouldn't have even considered it. It's been since I was a teen that I rode and this summer I am riding my bike,....  I would have never been able to cycle. Walking was a bit of an effort.

I love being smaller and being able to move and live life.  This surgery has been so amazing for me. I feel so thankful and I know that the kids are appreciating it as well. My man has lost close to 40 lbs since my surgery as well, although he has always been active in sports .  We have even talked about starting to run together - maybe doing a couch to 5 k program and actually running in a race. Who would have ever THUNK that???!!!???

Just had to share!

Way to go Michelle...how's your bum feeling today?  I haven't been on a bike in a few years...because I don't have one.  But when I do get one I think I'm gonna want one of them super-soft, wide-seat models.

bum is doing good  lol. I have a cruiser type bike. Nice and comfy seat and a little old fashioned... just my speed.  Got Shawn to put a new basket on it - love it :-)

They are super popular now and should be on sale too. I bought mine at costco and it is nice and high ( you are tall like me if I remember right!) and comfy.

I was in the states last week and saw wicked deals on bikes at walmart . One cool looking bike was 58 bucks! I really wish I had brought my bike rack down. Or thought about looking at the prices of them there lol.

We went out tonight again . Took a ride up to the walmart to pick up a couple things and then around the block . I love it . It's a nice bonding experience with my step daughter ( age 8)

My kids bought me a bike for mother's day last year and I am struggling with it.  I did buy one of those super duper big azz seats and got it put on, however,  my azz is still superior in size and trumps the seat.  I have considered a tractor seat but now that surgery isactually happening, I am sure I will be fine in the spring.

Good on ya for getting out there Michelle!!

My kids bought me a Kobo this year, and I use it all the time LOL
. Surgery date OCTOBER 16th

Congrats on getting out there! I had forgotten how much I enjoyed biking until I got back on a few months ago. Isn't it a wonderful feeling?!

I had to get myself a good seat as well. Even with my weigh loss, my butt is still a little bigger than those old seats are designed for. LOL!

Enjoy the ride!
