In the words of Elvis (who would have been a potential WLS patient) - Thank you, thank you very much! I'm sure everyone can rest easy now that I won't be all whiney-azz about being the only person left in MB with a stomach.
I called the Vic about my preop and Amara (god bless her kind soul) totally understood my scheduling concerns and trying to blend my pre op into either the morning I leave (when I will have good liver function tests and decent cholesterol) or when I return which won't be pretty from a liver/weight/cholesterol standpoint. She is going to talk to the "pre op people" and call me back....... I just want to get everything scheduled - I have sooooo much going on! happy happy happy

Congratulations, what GREAT news to end a week. It is nice they gave you so much notice too. Too bad you won't be able to make the M&G but hopefully we will see you again soon. Barb C
