6 days away from rny and i caught a cold

i think i need some cheering up, i caught a cold chest and head from my 4 year old, i have to work this week and be ok by monday for surgery...has ANYONE BEEN IN MY POSITION AND PROVIDE ME WITH ENCOURAGEMENT....I DO NOT WANT TO WAIT AGAIN FOR THIS TO HAPPEN..IF CANCELLED HOW LONG FOR REBOOK....AFRAID

you should be ok.i had a cold when i had my rny last year. i might give clinic a call and see what they think.you could very well get over it by then.keep us posted

Feel better soon and try to drink lots of water and rest. I would think as long as you don't have a fever or chest infection you should be okay for surgury. I'll think positive thoughts for you...
