Seafood dip -- another recipe variation
Another one to ad to the variety of recipes -- I just tried this. I put it in a bowl instead of layering it, since it was just a single serving for me. I chopped up some shrimp (very high in protein and low in calories), red peppers, green onions, cheddar cheese, mixed together seafood sauce and, instead of the usual cream cheese and/or sour cream, I used a dollop of Oikos Greek yogurt, plain, no fat. A friend of mine substituted that for sour cream in another recipe. You can't tell the difference when it's mixed in. If you used that in a layered dip, it would be really easy to scoop up. It was yummy and I couldn't tell the difference from the standard recipe.
