Bento boxes/rubbermaid.

I've started packing my food to take with me at work now and I really am loving it. I used to grab a protein shake ( click ) on the way to work and then tended to either have things like nuts on the go , or wait until I'm home at the end of the day to eat. Not the best thing for me , I know.

I picked up a couple of these rubbermaid blox containers and am loving them . Lots of little containers that fit together and different compartments in them. The last couple of days I packed some cold chicken breast ( probably 1 1/2 oz)  a snack thing of cheese, some grapes, a couple carrots and a couple crackers. I was able to graze on it during the day for my breakfast and lunch and I loved it.  I was getting sick of wendy's chili.

I know the world according to eggface posts lots of lunch ideas in bento box form. I bought my stepdaughter a laptop lunch container a couple years ago and these containers are just as good if not better for packing one ( a bit smaller for our portions)  Much cheaper too.. I think I paid 50-60 bucks for the laptop lunch one .

But holy was it ever a lot more food to log into my fitness pal .... lots of little stuff vs a bigger portion of one thing lol calories are about the same though and I find I am able to wait when I get home for dinner.:-)

I ended up buying them at superstore. and have seen them at walmart as well.
