Went to see the Nut, Laura. Believe it or not she said I was not eating enough, that I need to eat at least 1,200 calories, UP my CARBS to 130-170 grams, UP my fat to 40 grams, get more vegetable and REDUCE my protein to 50. I was shocked at all of these meal changes. I was focusing on protein, at least 60+, and limiting CARBS, cause that is what everyonyone always says..stay away from CARBS!, HMM. I haven't lost any weight this week for the first time, so I am a bit Leary to make all these changes and especially eat more and UP my calories by another 400 calories.(I was averaging 800) , BUT, I will do what she says and see what happens. Can't see how I will loose weight on 1,200 calories, when I haven't lost any on 800? Barb C
I was told that sometimes the change in calorie intake can shift your body back into weight loss mode. But they are all about not losing the weight too fast as well so it might be an attempt to slow things up a bit for you. She told me to eat more carbs too the last time I was in and to up my intake to about 1000 calories. Also really emphasized adding whole grains into my diet and that has worked wonders to keep me regular. Multi grain Cheerios either in the morning or as a bedtime snack!
