Any suggestions?

Hi All,

I am feeling anxious about having to fly this weekend, not the flying part but the "taking up too much room in the seat" part. I fly fairly often, and if my kids or husband are not with me, I can sit in a single seat on the smaller plane. I am flying to Toronto on Saturday; going there I am OK because my daughters are there with me, but coming home on my own. I am OK asking for an extender, but I am also tall with bad knees so I really don't fit well. I will have to sit with 2 others and the chances that they are both 100lbs. is slim (ha, ha)

Any suggestions? I am in an aisle seat near the back. You would think I could make up my mind to have the surgery! I still haven't started filling in the paperwork from Trish!

Thanks,

you can request a seat near the emergency exits. they are typically 10-20 bucks more (if I remember right) but they have a lot more space and leg room.
width wise, there isn't much else

The last time I flew, I just spoke to the person serving me at the check-in counter. I explained that I'd appreciate an aisle seat because of my size and they ended up putting me in the front row which had lots of extra space. They also managed to not put someone sitting next to me, which also helped a lot.

Most airlines have decent customer service that way.

Good luck!
