Talked to Vic the morning

I phoned  Barb from the Vic this morning to ask some question about the room, the fee and to get directions. 

DIRECTIONS:  Use the front door into the main lobby, take elevators on the RIGHT side to the basement.  Turn North ( not sure if this is marked) but you go past the pharmacy, so watch for those signs.  Go past the clinic areas (including the Bariatric clinic)   We are getting Classrooms 2 & 3, they are apparently the first classrooms you come to.    I am hoping to put up some signs if needed, I've never been there so it sounds simple but.......  Barb is going to make sure that the have the new bariatric chairs available so that everyone will be comfortable and she is going to have a white cart left at the main door with my name so we can use it bring stuff in if we need.  Apparently there is a Tim Horton's in the lobby so we can purchase beverages if we want, or we can bring our own stuff, not sure how everyone wants to work this

FEE: I told Barb that we were unhappy about the price and that we had to pay at all.  She said that we should definitely talketo Lanette about this and that something could probably be done about waiving or reducing the fee, depending on how they work this into the program.  Lanette is on holidays for the next two weeks or she said she would love to come to a M & G, find out how people are doing and most importantly to find ways to improve on the service.  Parking is $2.25 for 2 hours, apparently the  machine is in the lobby (this is where I am lost but I'm sure you city girls know how to go about using this) 

I hope that covers things for now and I hope everyone who was planning on coming comes.  LET'S HAVE SOME FUN LADIES!!

Awesome. The parking - you just take a ticket when you come in and bring it in with you to the hospital. When you leave you pay at the machine in the lobby and use it to get out of the parking lot. Like the airport.

I need to go through my clothes! coming up fast. 

What time do we have the rooms from ?

Oh yeah. sorry, I forgot to post the time.  I was thinking 6:30ish to 10:00 ish.  I don't think there is a limit to how long we stay, so if we run over then haha, too bad, we're just getting our money worth.  Barb said she would just get Security to leave the door unlocked for us.  I plan to go and make sure tables are set  up and chairs are unstacked (in case they aren't )

Can people brings books they have found helpful, or make copies of anything that they have found particularly helpful (ie: recipes, tips from websites, etc)  so we can look  at them or if anyone has any good recommendations for products, maybe bring a small sample if it's not something that is too expensive ( I know that the Clik individual packs are expensive but if you had a spare one Sondra, I would definitely buy one from you)

AND IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A M&G AND ARE ON THE FENCE ABOUT COMING --JUST COME!!!  Try not to be nervous about it, it's very welcoming and educational.

i am in city at the vic at 1 pm so i can help you set up if you want.i will bring all of my stash of goodies so everyone can check out what im buying and from where.if there is anything else someone wants me to bring inbox me and i will try.
fyi i dont do timmies so i might have to run out and get starbucks.tims is not good for my pouch

When you park, remember your parking number. You go into the lobby and have to enter your parking number into the machine and then pick how long you are going to be there and then you pay in advance.
