Yonanas, yummy new find

My girlfriend bought a Yonanas and brought me over a sample of what it makes, OMG it's like ice cream and all you use is frozen fruit!
So I went and bought one for my sister, they love it, her kids are asking for Yonanas for breakfast. My kids tried it and I went and bought mine yesterday.
No I'm not a sales person, lol.
Yonanas is made by Dole, it's a small kitchen appliance. You put frozen fruit through it and it comes out like creamy ice cream. Recommend that you always start with a piece of banana, I dont care for bananas much but you mix it in and can't really taste it, but I did taste just banana and it's really good.

My daughter has one and loves it.  I'm going to have to try it because she is also raving about it.  It's also a good way to use up bananas - just freeze them peeled and tadaa!

I have one ( bought it on ebay) and love it.  I made a treat that I call "not so chunky monkey" banana with a tiny bit of chocolate and walnuts in it. amazing.

OMG that sounds great!  I gots to get me one.  I crave cold desserts after supper!

Awww...I'm allergic to raw bananas. Will nothing else work?

Kokonut, Rainyone said that when you make it with banana it's creamier, but you can do it with other fruit and berries and it's less creamy more like a sorbet.

You can add chocolate to chute and it mixes right in . I like mine in chunks so I haven't done it like that.  I have some pineapple in the freezer that I plan to try. Figure it will make it nice and tropical.

Plus side also is it's perfect for ripe bananas - I toss them in the freezer along with any other fruit that won't be finished before it goes bad. Not that it is a big issue in this house with my 13 yr old step daughter who can eat fruit by the kilo ! My 8 yr old step daughter loves her fruit but is very picky with they type she eats. The older girl loves almost any type.
