Lanette emailed me after I left work yesterday from her blackberry:

"I might be able to get you a room for next Wednesday at VGH. Hold off on calling other sites... Will confirm with you tomorrow."

When I hear from her, I'll pass it on........ yahoo - partyrrom!

Good for you!  Hopefully we will get a room for next week!!  It will be great if it's at the hospital as I will be on my shakes and won't be tempted by sitting in a restaurant:)

Just trying to figure out how I am going to get 5 garbage bags full of clothes across the parking lot and into the room at the Vic????  May need to find volunteer schleppers!!!!!

same way I'm going to get those bags back to my car! lol - I'll ask Lanette if there is a cart or something like that (?wheelchair) that we might be able to use..... or we could steal a shopping cart from safeway and use that ...... but you might look like some crazy street person

I would volunteer to shlep that if we can't get some cart-like thing

how about a stroller?

I just found my old foldable wheeley cart thing that I used for schlepping photo gear around....that may work.  Forgot I had it stuck away in the storage room.

Oh wow this is awesome!! Nice one NGD!! You da best Granny ever! I met Lanette right after my surgery and she was awesome. I would love to see her now  


I totally plan on being at the M&G...and I have one bag and I volunteer to schlep some bags too

Way to go notorisgranny!  A room would be awesome - great work!!!  Hope to see you there, we have company coming in from out of town so I probably just do a drop in unless the family decides to go out or something with someone else for the evening. :-)
