Shopping...

It is sooo tempting. LOL. 

Today I bought a cute dress at Le Chateau outlet while shopping with my neices... omg it fit . I tried it on to see how close it would be ( kinda stretchy) I was so excited - 19.99  I bought something in a store I never imagined I would shop in !!!!! I figure it will look cute with a pair of leggings. :-)  LE CHATEAU!!! FREAKY

I took a day trip to Grand Forks yesterday ( we needed to pick up some packages, and I suggested we make a whole day of it. )

Went to Target. I was wandering around and checked out some clearance stuff. I am really trying to avoid buying as much as possible. I NEEDED new underwear - my man has been laughing at my big saggy underwear that I am still wearing that I wore at my highest weight.  Realized this week that I needed tighter ones as I had my period and it is not practical to have underwear that doesn't fit . I bought one package of smaller underwear at Target.
 
I wandered around and realized I wasn't in the plus size section and I was seeing things that would fit. It really hit me then. Pretty soon I'll be done with plus sizes ( I'm still in plus for pants and shorts, unless they are stretchy like yoga pants)  I 've got such a weird shape. I'm such an apple. Thinner legs and arms with a big belly. sigh.... A lot of things like yoga pants are great because they stretch for the tummy but still fit on the legs and doesn't look super baggy.

I got amazing sales on some stuff at Gordmans. I got a pair of size 18 shorts that fit awesome now . I think in a month they won't but for 7 bucks... it's awesome. I don't have any bathing suits that fit and they had a bunch so I bought one in 1X that fits now and one in Large for the future ( just the tops - can wear the bottoms longer.)  Cost me 8 bucks each.

I grabbed a shirt at Menards of all places that was cute. 

Today at Zellers in KP ( with my neices)  they had a big sale. Everything on clearance was another 50% off. I bought a bunch of t-shirts and nice plain shirts ( XL and Large) for 3.50 each. YAY

I went into Ricki's and realized that I could wear a lot of clothes there. I think they go up to size 18..... 

I really stuns me ... So very bizarre.  I really don't know what sizes I will fit into at the end of the day but I suspect I will enjoy shopping much more than I have before !!

 Wow what a rockin shoppin weekend!   Way to go!  It must feel great to explore new stores and be able to shop there!   Whoo Hooo!! I packed up more clothes yesterday and pulled out some of the smaller ones I got at a meet and greet. I noticed yesterday that when sitting my thighs look much smaller but when I stand up they slide down and I get a puddle of fat just above my knees.  Very loose and wobbly and not very attractive but it is getting smaller.  I like to follow your progress because we started at the same weight and I  am about 2 months and 25 lbs behind you.  Thanks for the inspiration,  I am going shopping today. 

I flapped my bat wings at my man yesterday and he got the funniest look on his face. Turns out it reminded him of his grandma and him as a little boy asking her why her arms looked like that. I laughed and laughed. He didn't think I would have an issue with my arms since they are one of my smaller body parts lol... I had to tell him they were mostly like that before. I just didn't flap them around.

My thighs are more wrinkled and loose now. I just don't really care. Figure it is a weight loss sign. 

Alle- I think we are very close - I think you are actually going faster - I think around june 3 I was 247. That is when I really started logging my weight regularly. You are rocking your pouch!

I have lots of 3x's for you NGD!  I'm so looking forward to the M&G ....

way to go rainy.isn't awesome when youtry something on and it fits or too loose.i still find myself walking through the plus section.hubby gets mad cause i dont need those sizes anymore but its hardwired into my brain.hope to see you at m*G

Wonderful!  Time to gather up the 3x and bring them to the M & G.

By the way, I'm still in a 3x....... hahaha  ..... I love hand-me-downs...  AND I am refusing to buy any more new cloths (I did have to break down awhile ago cuz everything I owned was pitiful and the part of me that doesn't live in the real world thought I would be done by this summer and gave away most of my summer clothes to the poor people in Cuba in January - LOL - jokes on me ) 

I'm thinking the way you ladies are going, I'll have a whole new wardrobe after the M & G!

Hey Granny D I am bringing a bunch of work clothes and others in sizes 22 - 24, 2X and 3X to the next M&G.  I went to Additionelle today and got a couple of lightweight shrugs ( batwing disquisers!) and some slinky sleevless tanks for work.  Some good deals! I bought mostly 1X and one size 14???? go figure.
