For those of you that have reached goal or are almost there...please ignore this post. For those of you waiting for surgery or are in the midst of losing, Penningtons and Additionelle have their semi-annual sale happening right now. 50% of all orange-ticket already reduced items.
It's so weird, at Additionelle I actually bought a t-shirt in a size "X". Not a 3X, not a 2X but an X. A year ago I couldn't even envision wearing an X and in my mind I would actually question why the store even carried that size. I bought a size 16 jean jacket too. They have such beautiful things, it will almost be bittersweet when I'm no longer able to fit clothes from there anymore....on second thought, probably not. (insert happy dance here!!)

Yay Lori! I know how you feel! I had that feeling too a few weeks ago when I hit the Alia Outlet store on Notre Dame. The last shirt I bought at Pennington's was a 4X and I bought 1X shirts at Alia.
Thanks for the tip about the sale. I'm going to head to Additionelle right now to see if I can find shorts. I haven't been able to find any now that it's summer and it's hot. LOL.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, no shorts...but I got a $150 spring/summer jacket for $21, a $50 pair of pants for $10.50 and a blazer/jacket that was $68.00 for $21. All are a little snug so I can shrink into them. Now I need to stay out of stores!! Thank you for the info, Lori!
It's almost enjoyable trying on clothes now, but It doesn't make sense to buy clothes if I'll only be able to wear them for one season, but that really hasn't stopped me...lol. This summer I've sort of tried to make do with the pants and capris I have, but I now have to belt them, when last summer I was ready to bust out of them. Recently when I was in The States I bought of pair of my favorite jeans in a size 12...(they were on a clearance rack for $9) I can barely get them over my hips, but they are my "goal jeans". Once I fit into them I'll be floating on cloud 9.
