Weight Wise program!

Ok initial appointment done, they were able to fit me in tomorrow to see the dietician and a psychologist. I've arranged appts for Sept 27th to come back. WOW! Has anyone had a sleep study done in Wpg for sleep apnea? Wondering how long the wait is or if you can do it privately?

Shawn had one done a couple years ago. They are looking for Obstructive sleep apnea? If that is all they need to know I believe you can get it private through medigas or Rana? one of those. Not sure if that is enough for them. Shawn did his through misericordia and I don't think the wait was super long. He brought the equipment home and did it that way. I think the wait is much longer in house.

So I'm leaving in the morning to head back home. Spent an extra day in Edmonton because I was given the opportunity to meet with psychology and the dietician due to a cancelation today. I will continue to do regular follow up with my dietician in Winnipeg and am scheduled to return to Edmonton for September 27th for an entire day of appointments -- dietician, psychology, psychiatry, medical doctor, case manager. Phew! The dietician told me that all my personal work in the last 3 months (journalling food, making good choices and wearing a pedometer) means that I will "move quickly" through the program. Not entirely sure what that means other than my case manager indicated that I would likely meet the surgeon the next next time I come.

hi crazy cat lady i did the ww in edmonton i had my surgery on april.26.2011 i cant believe it has been over a year myprocdure took over 3 years i went to the clinic 7 times including the operation did you stay at the best western it is the closest and you get a letter from the clinic and you will get a deal hope all is well

I did (and will) stay at the Best Western.  I didn't even need a letter, I just showed them the print out of my appointments.  That was good enough for them and it was a fantastic rate :)  Thanks for making sure I had a heads up!
