To shop at penningtons !!!!! Assuming I don't have any reason to shop for specifics ..... I went in and bought 2 cheap tshirts for 10 bucks each in a size X !!!! They fit . I was buying 4x from Walmart and 3x from penningtons before!

Ive been avoiding shopping as much as possible - I have been living in tshirts and yoga capris from old navy as they stretch and shrink and are very forgiving ( I have a big belly and thinner legs) those are in XL and large in the regular sizes! I. An fit into XL from joe and old navy of their tshirts.

This rocks but I've been shopping penningtons, lane Bryant , and addition Elle for so long , I'm not sure where to go next to shop when i get smaller ! Eeeekkk weird feeling

thats awesome im sooo happy fro you .go to jc penny they have awesome clothes and also sears in states.in canada i like old navy.the only thing is make sure you buy them on the tighter side as they will fit you very soon

macys has a line called american rag i believe the regular line goes sm-lrge while the plus goes xlarge-3x! such nice clothes and you dont really find that kind of stuff here...it also washes well and macys usually has pretty good sales

Awesome! I am resisting buying new clothes even though part of me really really wants to run out and buy a bunch of stuff. lol. I have a bunch of hand me downs from a couple of friends and I need to shop in those !

You might want to check out Jay Set at 1300 Notre Dame Ave. It's a Nygard warehouse store. I bought a bunch of stuff there a couple of weeks ago. Most items are marked down from the "regular" store prices and they often have sales on top of that. Their sizing is fairly generous, which is nice. My sizing is about the same as yours. I was amazed to be able to get into size 1X tops and size 18 pants there. Sure felt good when I had to go back to get smaller sizes to try on instead of the stuff I originally took into the change room.

Wow good for you. I can't wait for those days. I did buy 2 size XL shirts the other week from Tan Jay thinking I would fit them soon and they fit already so that was a nice surprise.

If you are size wandering between plus and regular Reitmans is a good store cause they carry both. I like you had my regular plus sized shopping spots. Now we have a whole new shopping world to explore! I wonder what it will be like to buy something just because I love it and not just because it fits and hopefully hides a roll or two. Happy Shopping!!

That's so great Michelle..a whole new world you are entering, huh? I too have shopped at Penningtons so long that I actually had to ask my daughters which stores I should try out when the time comes that Penningtons is no longer necessary..kind of a weird feeling actually..like starting all over again (but I certainly dont mind!!) You are doing really really great!

I totally relate! I have shopped nowhere but Pennibgtons for 20 years. I went in the other day looking for a pair of capris. I found a pair I really liked but their smallest size didn't fit me. It was surreal! Family have told me to check out Reitmans too.

There is a really good web site called Romans.com or Onestop.com I think they go up to
5 or 6 X I have ordered from there several times and I love their stuff. If you measure yourself according to their measurements their clothes fit wonderful and good quality at least what I bought. Once you become a member you get discount codes plus they have a Bra club buy 5 bras get 1 free. Between my daughter and myself we really love there bras. Their Clearance
