NSV - Rode my bike!

Had a wonderful evening yesterday - I rode a bike for the first time in over 20 years!!!

I forgot how much fun it is.

Although, I must say that it isn't quite true that you never forget how to do it. I had to laugh at myself at how clumbsy I was. I couldn't turn or stop on a dime like I could when I was a kid. People riding cars were wisely giving me a wide berth...LOL!

Hope everyone else had a nice evening.

Way to go! It is fun isn't it? I was thinking of hauling my bike out of the shed too.  I tried it last summer a bit and was having a tough time adjusting to riding on gravel roads.  That's what happens when you transplant a city girl into the country!

Yay! That's probably one of the things I miss most is bike riding. I think I've mentioned that I have a special needs child. Dwayne is blind and autistic along with some medical problems and last summer the Lion's Club bought him a bike. It has 2 seats side by side and one handlebar and 3 wheels. So we have been on a few rides. The bike is heavy though and Dwayne tends to use the brakes rather than pedal but it is fun...

Nice one!! I love riding my bike and I sure hated it when I had a giant butt/giant seat..LOL Now I am so loving the biking I have stolen my husbands bike and he had to buy a new one  Now all we need to do is attach the trailer for my little girl and family rides will be ON!

Maybe one day we can do a team ride?..LOL
