Still waiting for deliveries
Hi Alvina, I'm doing well. My husband is a cattle farmer and we had a busy and very hot weekend working cattle the last two days. I didn't do all that well in the heat but I think I got a bit dehydrated the first day and had no energy that evening and a bad headache. Day two I was careful to drink lots and sit down when I could and it was better. Eating is going well, I have my routine and every once in a while I try something new. I tried to have a homemade waffle this morning but it wasn't going well so I stopped and am having my tea now and will have some cereal in a bit. How was your weekend?
Hi Allie
I had waffles yesterday for brunch and no problems,lo My turn is coming!! Glad to hear you're doing well. I am looking forward to my surgery being complete. I had a good weekend, except my sister who has terminal cancer was admitted Saturday and it doesn't look good. Its hard to see her suffer.
I was listening to a radio program yesterday with 3 biatric surgeons and they explained the 4 different surgeries and pros and cons of each. It was very interesting. Especially since recently I was advised by someone on the main board to chg from RNy to DS and was shocked that I had not done proper research. I thought I had, but she said, didn't you know you can't take tylenol after RNY. I felt like a fool.
The DS is much more complicated then the sleeve or RNY according to the surgeons.
Well I better go
Thanks

That is why I don't go on the main site much, I don't find the atmosphere there very friendly and too many people on there spend too much time being critical. As far as which surgery you decide on only you can choose and if you're going through mb health they only cover vsg and rny. I don't know where she got her info on the tylenol, because when they sent me home from the hospital tylenol 3's where one of my pain medication options. If you want more information on the ds surgery you could ask itskillinme I'm pretty sure she would be willing to share her experience with you.
