Well I never thought the day would come.....but I am actually wearing some of the clothes I got from some of you gals at the meet and greets.  It's like having a new wardrobe and when I hold them up and look at them I think no way that will fit...and then OMG it actually fits! Thanks ladies!!!  This is so much fun.  Looking forward to passing some of mine along.

"age correct"  is going to be the kicker for me.  I've always wanted to wear an animal print spandex mini dress, ever since the 80's ( I may have one in the bowels of my closet which I am sure I got so I could "diet down into it")  same as my daisy dukes and pop tops.  According to my children, grannys don't were stuff like that - hmph!  jking of course ..... sort of

AND I also have a pile of clothes I got from a M & G that I look at and scoff, but maybe if I ever get my mythical surgery..... I'm starting to think that there really isn't a surgery and that I am part of some elaborate sceme ....... maybe I'm being punked by Ashton Kutcher......hmmmm

I think when you manage to lose the kind of weight we all would like to then you can wear what ever the heck you want!  I think Daisy Duke must be a granny by now too!  Although you are an amazingly young looking granny!  It sure will be nice to get out of the frumpy clothes that are in the plus sections.  I actually bought two XL Tees on sale yesterday and one Size 18 blouse.  Still need a couple of weeks to get into them but I couldn't pass up the sale.

awww you're so sweet, God bless ya Alle!  I think even with the weight gone, dressing with still be tricky due to skin.  I don't think skin should hang out the front of daisy dukes ....ewwww.  Maybe I'll just hike it up over the waist band  and spill it over the top, like a flat muffin top

I am thinking I am spending too much time thinking about this...... lol

Hey ladies

If you are in Winnipeg, check out the Nygard Outlet on Notre Dame Ave. They have great deals. They sell some new season items and lots of "old" season stuff. I bought 3 pairs of pants and 4 sleeveless tops for $85 and a great washable blazer/jacket for $28.  I was pretty excited when I got to buy things in sizes 1X and 18.  I had finally "outgrown" all of the old clothes I had kept. I also found several things at Value Village and Salvation Army. Some of them looked like they had never been worn.

Diane that's where I got my sale t shirts and blouse.  I love that place.  But will be glad to get out of the tiny little plus section and shop the main aisles.!!

Value Village has been a main shopping area for me as over the first year I went from a size 24 to a size 5 (anyone have size 5 let me know still need cloths, lol).  And I am having my tummy tuck on Aug 9th.  I keep saying how I am going to wear inappropiate shirts once it is done.  I am sure the novelty will wear off, hopefully sooner then later but I plan to rock my 37 year old stomic!

OMG...size 5...I think I had dolls bigger than that when I was growing up!  LOL.  You must be excited to be getting tucked.  And hey I say go for the inappropriate T's it's all about be loud and proud these days. (Maybe not to work though ) If the world has to look at pregnant tummies excaping from teeny tiny t's than I say the world is ready for your newly flattened and tucked tum tum!
You're sexy and you know it......at only 37 you got a lot of rockin left to do!

I like the V V Boutique too but have not had much luck my last several visits.

Way to go, thats exciting!!

Yesterday I was golfing and won a gift certificate from the pro shop so I decided to be optimistic and buy a Large golf shirt  instead of the XXL.   Hopefully by next summer, it will fit

I look forward to seeing you guys and the difference a month or two makes

Take care
