hmmmmm.... must have items? a shaker bottle/and/or blender type machine, ( magic bullet perhaps?) i went nuts buying small everything, but wasnt needed, the one thing that both me and my hubby do use is the small bowls plates and spoons. they really help us watch our portion sizes. he hasnt had surg yet, but it helps him eat less aswell. i dont feel bad if i have a plate full and cant eat it cuz theres so little there to begin with. my favorite is the baby spoons. i really find they help slow me down, i am still learning to eat slow little bites and this really helps. i drink out of my favorite water bottle still with a straw, and have no problem drinking a big glass of milk, so i never used any of my small cups. really im sure i could have made due with what we already had, but these are little aids that i have found have helped me. yeah.... i went nuts and bought everything...lol. tiny storage containers in both glass and plastic, 3 shaker bottles, tons of different protiens and samples, none of which i even like right now...lol. an elite blender, measuring spoons, and cups. oh, i could go on, i know theres more, lol.
try not to get to swept up in the preparations and waste alot of money like i did...
very happy you got your date, and its soooo close, horray!!

I am going for my surgery on July 30. Perhaps we will run into each other.
Since I am an out of towner, we will be hotelling it for that week. On a side note, does anyone have any recomendations for accommodation in wpg?
