I am having my surgery in Regina and the protein they tell us to use is ISOFlex of ISOXP. I was so afraid of it tasting awful but have been pleasantly surprised. The chocolate mint is really good. Now, I do get to mix it with milk so that helps big time.
I have managed 2 days and on my 3rd. So far, I am doing mediocre because I really want to eat something besided jello (which I am allowed to have in addition to broth or any sugar free clear drink). The bonus though, I am losing weight. :)
Congrats on getting to Day 2! You will be on day 14 before you know it!!

Optifast is a brand of liquid meal replacement (link below). Many surgeons specify that particular meal replacement product for the two-week (or longer) preop diet that they have patients on before surgery. I had surgery in Mexico and could use any protein drink mix I preferred for my preop diet.
