opti-fast

 well day one is almost over and for the most part very successful....minus my morning freakout...im not usually good with eating breakfast and have the lovely gag reflex...so my first shake to say the least was horrible, i had a headache to boot and my nerves were at an all time high wondering what the shake would taste like i started with 300ml cold coffee mixed with the vanilla. for lunch i had 300ml coffee mixed with chocolate ( soooooo good) after work i had 300ml water with the vanilla...and i loved it... so im thinking my nerves got the best of me this morning. im sitting here with my last shake of the night and happy with myself i survived day one. thank you ladies with all your help! here's to conquering the 13 days i have left!!! I also mixed mine with cold chi tea, yummy. I found them, the colder, the better, so stared making lots of ice and putting it in the blender with 3 or 4 ice cubes. Keep yourself busy

Hi Tiffany I used slim fast chocolate ::  mixed in b lender ice (crush) add half cup water 1 scoop slimfast and 2 Tblsp ice cream or milk..  Tastes like tim hortons ice cap made with cream.  i only had 3 shakes over the first 10 days. The last 4 days are clear liquids only. If your diet is same 

Adding cold coffee is good but also try adding a little cinnamin or nutmeg. That helps too! I used to tell myself I was drinking a Christmas Latte from Starbucks!! Good luck over the next 13 days. And water water water. I'm in LOVE with MIO drops (walmart, superstore and now Safeway carries them). It tastes like regular juice! So much better than crystal lite.

What is MIO drops?

They are water flavouring but in a liquid form (not granules that clump together and don't dissolve like crystalite). They come in a host of flavours...from iced tea to strawberry watermelon, peach mango, etc. No calories, sugar, etc. The States carry a ton more flavours (target or walmart) but Canada just started carrying them.
I LOVE drinking water now...and easily get in 8 glasses a day.

what section of the store do you find them, are they where the powdered koolaid and powdered orange juice stuff is or somewhere else?

Superstore has them in the same aisle as the chips...go figure (not with the juices or sodas!!). I had to ask someone to help me find them. They only had 2 flavours when I went to the one in Westwood...Fruit punch and peach mango. I'm going to the U.S. in July and I'm going to stock up b/c they have flavours that I've never seen here.
Have you seen the commercials for Mio? They just came out and they're hilarious!

Hey, just looking at my Sobeys flyer and the MIO is in ther for $3.99, buy 2 and get free water, BUT BETTER YET, it is also on the Price Chopper flyer and only 2/$5.00. Better deal there. Thanks, I will have to go get some as I am kind of off plain water. Barb C

You can buy them in little squeeze bottles. It's flavours to add to your water. I think there are 3 or 4 flavours and they are about $3.50 a bottle. I got mine at Walmart but I see them everywhere lately.
