2 scallops Is now considered overeating in my books.  wow... This is what I have chosen for my first SOLID food..I love Hell's Kitchen and have been DYING for Pan Seared Scallops, and that's what I had tonight. I ate less than 2 and my son had what I didn't eat.
They were delicious.
I used to be able to eat 6 bacon wrapped scallops....for an appy

Isn't that an awesome feeling. I can only eat 1/2 chili at wendy', or one chicken strip from mcdonalds snack wrap. it's such a bizarre feeling. I can't even finish a whole egg at times - I used to eat a giant breakfast with 2 eggs and hashbrowns, toast and bacon or a three egg omelette with toast and hashbrowns and now I can eat a single egg and be full!

How did it sit on your sleeve? I had a scrambled egg as my first sort of mushie food and it turned me off of eggs for weeks lol.  I hated the way it felt on my stomach.

WOW ladies.. seeing that i am still waiting on being accepted... i have no idea of the whole process yet.. but is that about all you will be able to eat the rest of your life?? or just for the first while? that doesnt seem like much at all.
Thats amazing, of course @ this point of time, i cant imagine only eating that little.. i guess if we had all eaten like that all along i wouldnt be in the situation that I am in!

Congrats to all of you!

I am very early out.  Dense protein fills you up fast! I have just started on solids, with the exception of a bite or two here and there. so I will be able to et more later, it's just very early for me:)

Glad they sat well..and funny you should mention the appy thing. I have been thinking of the Kegs Mushroom Neptune (LOVE IT) and hope to be able to have a bite soon. Iknow that cream cheese etc is alittle high is calories but at this point, I would probably only be able to have 1. Im having roast chicken for my first solid food today.

Way to go ladies you are doing very well.  I know what you mean about eggs.  I thought I would love eggs but after the first couple I really had no desire to try them again.  I do find that if I make them more like an egg salad I can manage them at lunch but first thing in the day no way.

Went to a BBQ last night at a friends and no one commented on how little I ate.  I put a little more than I knew I would finish on my plate and just pushed it around until I could politely put it in the garbage.  Half a skinless chicken breast and some pasta salad, raw veggies and fruit and it all went down great.  Had some watermelon that I had brought instead of cake.  People did notice the 30lbs I have lost.  One person asked me about it finally and then 3 or 4 others said they had noticed but didn't want to ask.  Then big discussion about what was I doing that I had such great success.  Told them mostly the truth, eating smaller high protein and low carb meals at regular times with planned healthy snacks and lots of water.  It felt good to be able handle the attention and field the questions without getting flustered.
