Hi everyone! My family dr sent a letter to Dr.andrews to get the ball rolling for approval for the sleeve for me, and I am wondering how they go about contacting you. I am 99% sure I will meet the criteria from what I've read on this board. Those of you who had Dr. Andrews, what is he like?

You will get a letter saying that you meet the criteria and will be put on the wait list.
Ihave never met dr Andrew so I will let someone else respond

Referal weight 265, surgery date weight 243, ticker is all post op loss so add 22 to ticker loss

Hey cinnabon,
i got a letter saying i have been accepted into the program and am now on the waiting list. I had one appointment with Dr.Andrews and he is a very nice, understanding man. I felt completly comfortable around him once i was in the appointment...of course before the appointment i was super nervous..but my nerves also get the best of me at times. Good luck and i hope you receive a letter soon!!

Dr Andrew is an amazing sugeon , Last year he was my sugeon on a unrelated manner and i trully trust him and his team . He is very nice great bedside manner and very respectful and understanding .

I agree Dr. Andrew is great, very good bedside manner. Very understanding and really listens to you. Also I noticed that the nursing staff on the surgery floor at the Vic had a lot of respect for him, which I think says a lot about him too! He came by at 7:30 at night the day after my surgery after an obviously long day to check on me.

Referred March 2/11, Group Orientation Nov. 4 /11, Surgery date May 15/12 RNY
