Home from my surgery

Had my sleeve done on Tuesday. Was quite nauseous the first 2 days, Tuesday and Wednesday, so did,thavemuch liquid those days. Stayed on the drip the whole time I was there. They put me in room 217, where there is anurse24 hours round the clock monitoring you. They left me hooked up to everything the whole time because I had Avery low heart rate. The nurses there are fabulous. I did't get a lot of sleep and was feeling much better by last night (Thursday), and was able to keep down my 4ounces of jellow and 4 ounces of apple juice ,which took me all day to get down, so Idecided to go home last night. I had a great sleep at home in my own bed and am feeling pretty good today. Sip, sip, sip,is right. I can only tolerate 1 oz every 15 minutes so it has taken all day to drink one protein shake. Am very thirsty! Dr. Andrew said he was very happy I had lost so much weight pre surgery (40 pounds), because it made his job so much easier and it will be so much easier now to get down and keep it off. Over all,I am HAPPY!

Yeah!!!! You're all done..now on to healing and improving. Believe me, each day really does get better and better. Just keep the fluids up and do the best you can. Very happy all went well.
