25 Pounds Gone!!!
Two weeks pre op diet and two weeks post op = 25 poiunds down!!!! YEAH.
Things I have learned to date:
-I still am not a good walker, but am trying when the weather cooperates.
-I am having trouble figuring out what my pouch wants in the morning. Eating right after getting up is not going well. If I drink something first it's better but then I have to wait to eat. Still playing with the morning routine
-I was a 4-6 cups of coffee a day gal and had to have one when I got up in the morning. Now I can't seem to drink it and really can't handle it in the mornings. I seem to have lost my taste for it
and even though I don't want to drink it I am mourning my coffee rituals and the comfort of my morning cup.
-The only thing that I can't really eat well yet is toast, so that will wait for a while. Fish, chicken and ground beef is all good as long as I chew well and eat small portions. Veggies and fruits good, haven't had much rice or potato and have not tried pasta yet at all.
-Still tire easy and need a nap or I can't think straight
-It's getting harder to get my water in each day. Always has been a challenge for me though.
- Still no regrets, this has been easier than I expected so far and I love stepping on the scale and watching the number go down bit by bit. Best decision I have made in a long time.
